Outreach: Eclipse 2015 (2)

On March 20th (2015) members of the Earth & Planetary Surface Processes Group visited the Children’s House National School to view the eclipse. The students had been busy since our earlier visit producing pin hole cameras and various images of the sun and eclipse. We brought along some ‘activities’ to enhance the learning opportunity (and also because it was really cloudy). We were fortunate that we were able to view the eclipse through sufficiently long breaks in the cloud. The excitement of the children (from age 3 through 12) made it a wonderful experience for all.
