New Research Assistant in Geomorphology

The Earth and Planetary Surface Processes Group are delighted to welcome Mr Ciaran Nash as our new Research Assistant in Geomorphology.

Ciaran recently completed his MSc in Environmental Sciences with the Group. His master’s research focussed on the internal hydrology and salinity dynamics of coastal sand dunes on Achill Island, County Mayo.

Ciaran’s current research covers several themes, namely mapping of rock coast features, landslide detection using drone photogrammetry, and investigations of dune features on Mars.
